Metal Hip Research Group, Oxford

In 2010, I have setup and co-chair a national Metal Hip Research Group to coordinate research in and our understanding of the cause of early failure of metal on metal bearings whether it be on resurfacing or large head arthroplasty. I have now chaired 3 meetings with Mr Jeremy Latham and a 4th is planned for 2013.
